CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Lady Tiger volleyball started its week Monday afternoon with a quick three-set victory over West Virginia Tech in Powell Athletic Center. Campbellsville University posted wins of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-13 to down the Golden Bears in less than an hour in the rare weekday afternoon home match.

Shannon Cahill led CU with 11 kills in the match, while Genevieve Collette had eight kills and CU had seven each from Monica Chernichan, Laura DeGear and Samantha James.

Defensively, Caitlin Dresing led Campbellsville with 14 digs, followed by nine each from Audrey Sanders and Cahill.

Lilian DaSilva and Jackie Schwieger divided the setter duties, collecting 19 and 18 set assists each.

Campbellsville (11-8) will host the University of Pikeville for a Mid-South Conference match Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
