BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - After three straight meets at Union College, the CU Lady Tigers are getting to know just about every square inch of water in the Robsion Arena Aquatic Center.
That familiarity led to an "A" cut time Saturday for the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay team, the best time this young season for the 200-Yard Medley Relay and improvements for both
Alison Lee and
Brooke Cato.
In the time of 4:06.72 the Lady Tigers set their "A" standard time with a second-place finish in the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay.
Campbellsville finished third to Union and Lindsey Wilson in the 200-Yard Medley Relay with a time of 2:11.38, eight seconds better than what they swam opening week.
Lee knocked 72-hundredths of a second from her previous best in the 200 Freestyle. She swam a 2:07.85.
Cato was 11-hundreths of a second faster than her previous best in the 50 Freestyle and trimmed nearly a second and a half off her 100 Freestyle.
The Lady Tigers finished third to Union and Lindsey and beat St. Catharine.
