CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - CU's Water Tigers held their last meet of the season, at home, in preparation for nationals in two weeks. And they used to occasion to say goodbye to the team's only senior, Tori Reiss, Fairbanks, Alaska.
"Tori has been great for our program," said first-year coach Steve Doss, prior to the meet. "She is one of our leaders and will be sorely missed.
"But this meet was maintenance for us," Doss continued. "You don't want to not swim this weekend, because if there is a problem we still have time to correct it."
The team leaves Monday, March 1 for St. Peters, Mo. where six Water Tigers will compete against other NAIA schools.
Doss said all his relay teams - 200 free and medley, 400 free and medley, 800 free relay and individuals
Brooke Cato and Tori Reiss, 50-yard freestyle; and
Meagan Pickett, 100-yard breaststroke; will compete. All have posted B National times.

400-Yard Medley Relay: Reiss,
Ellen Hittson, Catie Sattler and Cato, 4:53.46.
50-Yard Freestyle: Cato, 27.20; Reiss, 27.33; Pickett, 27.81; Hittson, 28.31;
Carrie Wohlschlegel, 29.18; Sattler, 29.40; and
Ariana Johnson, 35.96.
100-Yard Breaststroke: Pickett, 1:16.59.
100-Yard Freestyle: Wohlschlegal, 1:04.99.
400-Yard Freestyle Relay: Reiss, Hittson, Sattler and Cato, 4:16.24.
