Box Score 2 MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Campbellsville University was unable to get its first win of the season Saturday, as the No. 17 Tigers dropped a doubleheader at Faulkner University, 5-1 and 1-0.
Despite matching Faulkner University's hit total in the first game, Campbellsville was held scoreless for the first five innings. The Eagles led 5-0 before the Tigers' first run got on the board, as Matt Darr, Matt Parker and Michael Clayton each drove in runs and Jonathan Gober hit a solo shot. Jacob Simmons improved to 4-0 for the Eagles as he picked up the complete game win. His only run allowed was a Kevin Komstadius home run in the sixth, the Tigers' first homer of the season. Jameel Ziadeh led the Tigers with two hits each.

Sean Bouthilette struggled in his Tiger debut, picking up the loss in game one. Bouthilettte allowed four earned runs off five hits and two walks through 3 1/3 innings. He struck out five.
In the second game, Campbellsville collected only three hits in the 1-0 loss. Kenny Miramontes drove in Michael Clayton in the third for the Eagles' only run.
Michael McBride, who gave up six hits and struck out four through six innings, picked up the loss for CU. R.L. Eisenbach went the distance on the mound for Faulkner.
Campbellsville (0-3) travels back across town Sunday for another game at Auburn University-Montgomery at 2 p.m. ET to close the road series.
