Game 1 - Lindsey Wilson 6, Campbellsville 4 -- BOX SCORE

Lindsey Wilson made short work of Tiger starter Michael McBride, posting a six-run second inning. McBride gave up six earned runs off nine hits. The big inning proved to be all the Blue Raiders needed.

Manuel Ozoria and Tyler Bernard led off the inning with singles before McBride retired the next two. Perez drove in the Blue Raiders' first two runs with a single. Adam Peacock, Drew Barrett, Jeff Kerian and Ozoria also had RBI singles in the inning.

In the fourth, Craig Edwards bounced a hit over the head of Bernard at second base for CU's second hit of the day. While the Tigers were unable to get anything else going in the inning, Edwards rallied his team entering the fifth.

"Hitters up, right here," Edwards yelled to his team before leaving the field.

The four-year Tiger challenged his team atop the dugout steps to be aggressive with the upcoming inning. His teammates answered the call.

Carlos Torres, Michael Durham and Tanner Nielsen led off the inning with back-to-back-to-back singles. Campbellsville kept the bases loaded for the next five batters, manufacturing four runs. Danny Lapchak, Edwards, Marc Garza and Gibby Briones posted RBIs in the inning.

However, the four-run fifth was all the Tigers had also in terms of run support.

Rusty Devitt pitched 6 1/3 innings in relief for CU, allowing only two hits. He struck out six. Darren Travers went the distance for the Blue Raiders, allowing three earned runs off nine hits and a walk.
