Box Score 2 CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -
Ryan Richardson and
Michael McBride each pitched complete-game shutouts Saturday to wrap up a Mid-South Conference sweep for Campbellsville University over the University of the Cumberlands, 6-0 and 9-0, at Tiger Field.
Campbellsville gave its pitchers run support in the form of 15 runs off 28 hits in the doubleheader.

Leading the offense was three-hole hitter Chance Kopacz, who went 5-for-8 on the day with three runs scored and two RBIs. Trent Seamons was 4-for-7 in the doubleheader and Tanner Nielsen went 3-for-3 in the first game.
Campbellsville secured a Top 4 seed in the MSC Tournament with the wins, sitting at 31-13 overall and 12-6 in the conference. This week, Campbellsville will host Cumberland University on Tuesday and Asbury University on Wednesday, both at 7 p.m. EDT, before closing the regular season at the University of Rio Grande next weekend.
GAME 1 - Campbellsville 6, Cumberlands 0 -- BOX SCORE
Tanner Nielsen started the Tigers with strong defense and offense in Game 1. Nielsen recorded two put outs and an assist in the top of the first before leading off the bottom of the inning with a double to right. He went on to score the Tigers' first run on a Kopacz ground out.
CU added a run in the second on an RBI hit by Tony Rossetto. The 2-0 lead was all the run support Richardson had to work with through the seventh en route to his nine-inning win.
The Tigers added a three-spot of insurance in the bottom of the seventh off RBIs from Nielsen and Kopacz. Nielsen scored his run on an errant throw into center by catcher Drew Fox. Danny Lapchak singled in CU's final run in the eighth.
Richardson finished with six strike outs. He gave up five hits and two walks in the outing.
GAME 2 - Campbellsville 9, Cumberlands 0 -- BOX SCORE

Chance Kopacz continued his hot hitting in the second game, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored.
CU jumped out to a five-run lead after three innings to give McBride support from the plate.
The Tigers scored their first two runs on a balk and passed ball in the first inning and added three in the third on a two-run double by Gibby Briones, who later scored on an RBI single from Michael Durham.
Three more runs were pushed across in the fifth on a two-run single from Brandon Johnson and an RBI hit by Trent Seamons.
Ryan Squires was hit by a pitch in the sixth with the bases loaded to score the final Tiger run.
McBride (7-1) allowed three hits and two walks in his seven-inning complete game. He struck out five.
