DANVILLE, Ky. - Rio's Anna Smith one-hit Campbellsville in the opening game of the Mid-South Conference Tournament at Millennium Park, dumping the Lady Tigers into the Loser's Bracket.

Kacie Vincent"s sacrifice bunt, but could get no closer than two bases away.
Kristin Benton and
Heather Oakley were the only other Campbellsville base runners when they coaxed free passes in the second and seventh innings, respectively.
Taylor Wroe (15-4) shouldered the loss, giving up three hits in four innings of work.
Courtney Turpin relieved Wroe in the top of the fifth. She allowed four hits.
The Lady Tigers (33-22) benefitted from two double plays that got them out of trouble in the fourth and fifth frames.
Rio (25-18) got the only run it would need in the third when Haley Gwin doubled to lead off the inning and then appeared to kick the ball out of
Sara Paragon's glove on a play at the plate on Allison Hurst's grounder to first.
Rio scored an insurance run in the fourth when Hurst's single plated Smith.
Campbellsville plays again at 3:00 against Pikeville, which lost 8-0 to Lindsey Wilson.
