Box Score 2 CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Keaton Neeb drove in all five runs to lift Campbellsville University to a 5-3 comeback victory over No. 21 Lindsey Wilson College in the second game Saturday and Mid-South Conference doubleheader split. The Tigers dropped the first game at HIG Field, 9-4.
Game three of the series, the final regular season MSC game, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. EDT at HIG Field.

Lindsey Wilson took a 3-0 lead through four after Manuel Ozoria drove in a run in the first and Mitchell Osnowitz and Derek Shugart followed with solo homers in the second and fourth innings.
Campbellsville loaded the bases in the bottom of the fifth with two outs. Josh Potter, Travis Hayes and Michael Bush got the inning going with back-to-back-to-back, one-out singles. Neeb cleared the bases with a double to left and tied the game, 3-3.
After Drew Pettit shut down the Blue Raiders in the sixth and Tylar Schmunk did the same in the top of the seventh. Bush led off the final inning with a single and was caught in a sac bunt fielder's choice that put Jacob Phillips on first.
With one-out, Neeb turned on a 2-1 pitch and blasted it over the leftfield fence for the walk-off win.
Schmunk (4-2) recorded the win in relief, while Chris Erker fell to 10-2 on the season with the complete-game loss. Â
Campbellsville collected 23 hits in the doubleheader, with Neeb and Bush having five each on the day. Neeb and Bush were each 3-for-4 in the second game, while Potter was 2-for-3 and finished the day with three hits. Travis Hayes had four hits in the two games. Â
GAME 1 – Lindsey Wilson 9, Campbellsville 4
Campbellsville led 2-0 through four innings, but gave up nine straight runs to drop the first game of the series.
Leadoff hitter Michael Bush singled to start the bottom of the first and scored on a double by Keaton Neeb. In the second inning, Bush drove in Josh Potter for a 2-0 lead after Potter doubled with one out.
Patrick McMeel held the Lindsey Wilson College Blue Raiders at bay through 4 2/3 innings, allowing only three hits. However, nine-hole hitter Derek Shugart doubled to score Jeandro Andino, who led off the inning with a single. McMeel was pulled after giving up the double as Bret DeRooy took over on the mound for CU. DeRooy gave up a 1-0 count double to Leandro Perez to score Shugart and tie the game, 2-2.
DeRooy (2-5) continued to struggle over the next two innings, allowing six earned runs of his own off nine hits. Lindsey Wilson added three runs in the sixth and three through two-thirds of the seventh to stretch the lead, 8-2.
LWC collected back-to-back-to-back singles to start the sixth to score one, and then loaded the bases when Andino drew a pitch off his pants leg. Manuel Ozoria, Mitchell Osnowitz and and Russ Morse each had RBIs in the inning. All three runs in the seventh also came with two outs on RBIs by Ozoria and two from Andino. Â
The Blue Raiders' ninth run was a solo home run in the top of the eighth and Carlos Torres added a pinch-hit, two-run shot in the bottom half of the inning to round out the scoring.
Bush, Neeb and Johnson each had two hits for CU, while Travis Hayes led the Tigers with a 3-for-4 day from the nine hole. Ozoria led LWC with a 3-for-5 day, while Morse, Andino and Leandro each had two hits.
Darren Travers collected the complete-game win for LWC, throwing only 108 pitches and striking out five. McMeel had six strikeouts in his start. Mason Yates and Shane Woodson also saw action on the mound, with Woodson closing the ninth without giving up a hit or run.
