PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville women's soccer did not let a little rain and soggy weather dampen its match on Thursday night. The Lady Tigers and Lady Bears of Pikeville delayed the start five hours and moved locations to Shelby Valley High School. But CU jumped on UPike early, dominating the game, 5-0.
BOX SCORE
With the victory, CU is now tied for third place in the Mid-South Conference with UPike, Georgetown College and Shawnee State.
Campbellsville scored in the sixth minute, as Mhairi Fyfe received a pass from Devon Burnside to put the Lady Tigers up 1-0.
But the scoring did not stop. Campbellsville went on to pick up first half goals from Burnside and Annie Hare. Fyfe assisted the Burnside goal and Melissa Garvey assisted the Hare score.
