Box Score 2 PULASKI, Tenn. — With its early-season offense starting to gather a full head of steam, Campbellsville produced 21 runs and rolled over Bryan College (11-2) and Benedictine (10-2) on Day 2 of the Martin Methodist Meltdown.

In four games the Lady Tigers have outscored their four opponents 34-9 and have yet to need a seventh inning. CU (4-0) pounded out 21 hits, got solid pitching and committed only two errors in 11 innings.

Campbellsville 11, Bryan College 2

Trailing 2-1 in the fourth, Campbellsville piled on a combined 10 runs the rest of the way to run-rule Bryan College 11-2 in six innings.

Sara Paragon and Kate Black wielded the heavy wood, driving in a combined seven runs with their four shared hits. Paragon had two doubles.

Victoria Decker picked up the win with three innings of scoreless relief of Taylor Wroe. Wroe was touched for the two Bryan runs, one unearned. Decker had four strikeouts in the 12 batters she faced.

Bryan committed five errors and the Lady Tigers made them pay. Brittany Rippy scored in the third on a double by Kristin Benton and then the flood gates started to swell.

In the fourth, Paragon's double led off the inning and she and Heather Oakley scored on Kate Black's two-run single.

CU scored four times with two outs in the fifth, started by Oakley's two-run single and another Black two-run safety.

Campbellsville closed out the scoring in the sixth with a four spot, punctuated by Paragon's bases-clearing double.

Courtney Turpin picked up her second win of the young season by pitching four inning of five-hit ball before receiving an inning of relief from Hayley Twyman.

It didn't take CU long to separate from the Bulldogs, using a five-run second inning sandwiched by two-run frames in the first and third.

Adrean Jordan drove in the first two runs on a single in the first. In the second, the Lady Tigers used three hits (K. Benton, Shelby Ray and Paragon) to go up 7-1.

In the third, Alyssa Barker led off with a single and she was plated by a Kristin Benton two-bagger followed by Shelby Ray's run-scoring double.
