Tigers in fourth on day one of Green River Classic

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- In the first competition of the season, the Tiger bowling team is in fourth place after day one. Campbellsville knocked down a total of 4,519 pins, only 53 pins behind third-place Cumberlands (Ky.). Lindenwood Belleville leads the men's team standings, with Pikeville at second.

Jonathan Lobb, a junior from Greensburg, Ky., and the Green River Classic winner in 2013, sits in fifth place for Campbellsville. His best single game Saturday boasted an impressive 259 pin-fall. His pin total is 53 behind the individual leader, Jon Heiman of Pikeville.

Rounding out today's top 15 individuals is junior Hudson Haynes, whose 930 pin-count puts him in 15th going into Sunday's competition.

The men will continue Sunday at Phillips Lanes as they play in the team baker games.
