LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Campbellsville University men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Bellarmine University for their season openers Saturday, but both fell to the Knights.

The Tigers fell behind the Knights, 2-1, in competitive doubles action, and eventually lost the match by a score of 5-4. Nathan Boniel and Parker Jones picked up the lone doubles victory for the Tigers, 8-5. Sebastian Marot, Boniel, and Jones all picked up singles victories as well. 

The 24th-ranked Lady Tigers were only able to come away with two victories in the match. Senior Jenna Sallee claimed a victory in singles, winning over Bess Flay, 1-6, 6-1 and 6-1. Anna Tumanyan and Haley Dallas were able to pick up an 8-5 doubles victory over Evann Waschuck and Caitlin Hanley. 

The Tigers also traveled to Indiana University Southeast for the night cap but results were not available Saturday evening. Both the men's and women's teams will return to action March 6-8 at the Auburn University Montgomery Invite in Montgomery, Ala.
