Box Score WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — (BOX SCORE) Aided by University of the Cumberlands committing seven errors, Campbellsville put together a 17-hit day to rout the Patriots, 17-1 in seven innings, on Saturday afternoon.

Campbellsville improves to 15-4 overall and 5-2 in the MSC and extends its win streak to six games. The Patriots drop to 13-16 and 2-5 inside the conference.
Carlos Torres, Miguel Solano-Espinoza and Garrett Everhart all picked up three hits in the victory. Solano and Everhart also led the Tigers, driving in three runs.
Mario Morales (4-1) pitched a complete game, throwing seven innings and only allowed one run on five hits. The junior from Riverside, Calif. threw 96 pitches with 71 of those being strikes. He also struck out eight batters without allowing a walk.
University of the Cumberlands starting pitcher Cameron Smith wasn't as good. Smith was unable to make it out of the first inning, as Campbellsville sent 10 hitters to the plate, scoring five runs. Smith allowed six hits and four earned runs before being pulled with one out in the opening inning. He picked up the loss and moved to 1-5 on the season.
The Tigers added single runs in the second and sixth innings but delivered the big blows with crooked numbers in the fourth and fifth innings. Campbellsville scored six runs in the fourth inning and four in the fifth inning.
The Tigers offense saw four separate pitchers come out of Cumberlands' bullpen. Of the 17 runs scored for CU, 13 of them were earned.
Campbellsville's Richard Ramirez and Jeremy Rosenthal both recorded multiple hits with Rosenthal driving in two runs along with teammate Shane Woodson. Ramirez also delivered one RBI along with Torres, Ricky McColloch and Casey Scott.
The Tigers and Patriots will meet on the diamond again on Sunday, March 29 for the series deciding doubleheader. First pitch of the twill bill will be 1 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted live – www.portal.stretchinternet.com/cumberlands
