WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Campbellsville kept the pressure on as the frontrunner in the Mid-South Conference, taking another double-header from the University of the Cumberlands today, 7-4 and 8-0. The series sweep gives the Lady Tigers a 14-game win streak, which matches last year's mark.

But it didn't come as easy as the 25-run, 30-hit Saturday sweep.
In game one, CU (26-5, 17-1 MSC) scored five insurance runs in the top of the seventh and held off a bases-loaded threat by the Patriots in the bottom of the inning.
Starter Victoria Decker, who had given up just two hits through six innings, got in trouble in the top of the seventh when she allowed three-consecutive Patriots to load the bases. Neely Quint came on in relief and pitched the Lady Tigers out of the late-inning jam with a pair of line drive outs and a fielder's choice, picking up the save — the first of her career. Decker struck out five and walked three to move to 14-2 on the season.
Brianna Scott and Jacqueline Roof spotted CU a 2-0 lead with solo homers in the first and third innings, respectively.
Decker pitched four scoreless innings before Elisa Mauldin delivered an RBI-single to break up the shutout.
But in the top of the seventh, the Lady Tigers scored five times, fueled by a bases-clearing triple by Hailey Szpila.
Scott and Erin Benton had two hits apiece to lead CU's nine-hit attack.
In game two, Campbellsville used runs in the second, fourth, fifth and sixth to gain the advantage on Cumberlands (15-13, 5-11 MSC)
CU got four hits from Rebecca Miller and three from Shelby Ray, all singles except Miller's seventh inning double, to lead a 16-hit attack. Hailey Szpila had her team-leading sixth home run and Adrean Jordan knocked in three runs with a seventh inning four-bagger, her first of the season.
Neely Quint (12-3) pitched a five hitter, striking out five and not allowing a free pass.
