Ricky McColloch started the scoring in the fourth with a leadoff walk. He then stole second base and scored on Kline's first hit.

UPIKE answered with a single run in the seventh inning after three consecutive batters reached to load the bases. Campbellsville starter, Indalecio Romo (5-3), struck out Austin Starling and fielded a slow bouncer to get the second out at home. But Romo plunked Zach Nothwehr to score the Bears only run (unearned).
The Tigers answered with two more runs in the bottom half and it all started with Kline's second double of the morning. After Everhart grounded out to the shortstop, Scott followed suit with an RBI double down the left field line – the same place as Kline's - to push CU ahead, 6-1.
