COLUMBIA, Ky. — Campbellsville could not pull out a first-set squeaker and eventually lost to Indiana Tech in the first match of the Lindsey Wilson Classic, 3-0 (30-28, 25-19, 25-23).
The Warriors (1-4) rallied from a 19-16 deficit in the first set, eventually tying the score at 21-21 and using two late kills by Jazmin Alexander to seal a 30-28 win.
Jana Kortas led the CU offense with 16 kills, securing a double-double with 15 digs. Annija Abolina had 12 kills and Chanel Raymundo had seven. Inoa Fields had a game-high 33 assists to go along with 13 digs. Jessie Pendleton had 11 digs.
