CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — In its first tournament of 2015-16, Campbellsville men's bowling finished in sixth place at the 7th Annual Green River Classic hosted at Phillips Lanes.
Results
The Tigers finished with a team total of 6,431 pins on the weekend with five teams and 12 Baker games played.
Reigning Mid-South Conference champion University of Pikeville won the team tournament with a total pin count of 7,148. The Bears outpaced Martin Methodist University who finished in second with a total of 6,990. Lindenwood-Belleville followed in third place with a team pin count of 6,946. Bethel University and University of the Cumberlands finished tied for 4th with total pin counts of 6,778.
Ryan Bremer led the Tigers with a total pin count of 944 to finish in 15th place. Bremer had a chance for Top 10 honors with two rounds in the 200's but bowled his final round at 159 to fall to 15th.
Freshman Devon Gunderson finished just behind his teammate in 19th place with 939 total pins. Gunderson got better as the rounds went on and finished with a 205 in his final game to outpace teammate Andrew Lissik for Top 20 honors.
Lissik finished just outside the Top 20 in 21st place knocking down 932 pins. Lissik bowled the third highest round for the entire tournament in his third game at 242 but rounds of 158 and 145 in games four and five kept him from placing in the Top 20.

Scott Hill from Lindenwood-Belleville outpaced Eli Haddock from Martin Methodist for individual medalist honors. Hill finished with the second highest round with a 244 in game two.
The Tigers will resume action next weekend, Oct. 3-4, at the Southern Kentucky Classic in Bowling Green, Ky.
