BRISTOL, Tenn. — Campbellsville women's wrestling had three champions today at the Tornado Open hosted by King University.
Shelby Hall (130), Hanna Hall (170) and Tiaira Scott (191) all went through their brackets undefeated, according to coach Lee Miracle.
Hannah Hall led the charge with 27 points, recording two pins and two tech falls.
"It was a busy weekend with wrestling University of the Cumberlands and Emmanuel last night (Saturday) in Williamsburg (Ky.) then driving to Bristol, Tenn. for the Tornado Open," said Miracle. "We had three champions. Shelby Hall at 130, Hanna Hall at 170, and Tiaira Scott at 191. All three looked really good this week.
"I think that the team as a whole is improving every week. We are focused in getting better every match and every practice. It is really starting to show on the mat with the techniques these young ladies are starting to use. I am extremely proud of all of them."
