WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Down 17-5 with five weight classes to go, fifth-ranked Campbellsville women's wrestling rallied to steal a dual against No. 6 University of the Cumberlands on Saturday, 23-22.

The Patriots took a 17-5 lead after the first five weight classes were complete. The lone win for Campbellsville during that span came via 2015 WCWA All-American Kait Fitzpatrick at 116.
But for the second-straight weekend, national champion Kayla Miracle sparked a huge comeback against University of the Cumberlands. She pinned her opponent in 4:58 then was succeeded by three-straight wins – Hannah Gladden (143), Michelle Organ (155) and Hanna Hall (170).
Tiaira Scott was unable to seal a win over No. 2 Alyssa LaFrancis but she held on strong and allowed the Lady Tigers to come out with the 23-22 win.
The Lady Tigers also had their JV team compete compete against Cumberlands. Campbellsville came away with another nail-bitter, 22-21.
Campbellsville traveled straight to Bristol, Tenn. today to compete in the Tornado Open hosted by No. 1 King University. Live results can be found on Track Wrestling – HERE.
