INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Campbellsville competed this past weekend at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout with the Tigers finishing 15
th out of 23 teams.
Leading the way for Campbellsville was
Andrew Lissik, a Junior from Columbia, Md. and coming off his first Mid-South Conference Bowler of the Week honor, shot 1,211 and finished in 19
th place overall.
Jonathon Henderson and
Ryan Bremer round out the Top 30 knocking down 1,198 and 1,187, respectively, finishing in 23
rd and 28
th.
Going into Baker Games on Sunday the Tigers were sitting in 15
th place behind Vincennes University but through four sets of Baker Games the team went 744, 672, 728, and 726, while Vincennes went 7-5, 674, 759, 730 to edge CU.
The Tigers stayed where they left off from Saturday finishing in 15
th place with an overall total of 8,535. Notre Dame College took home first place with a final score of 9,272, while McKendree was second just 31 pints behind Notre Dame with 9,241.
Individually, Chris Elizondo won the tournament for Notre Dame finished with 1,386 pins.
The Tigers will look to strike back on October 15-16 in Dayton, Ohio for the University of Pikeville Orange and Black Classic.
