VALDOSTA, Ga. — Three Lady Tigers shot an opening-round 76 today at the Thomas University Fall Invitational and as a team Campbellsville sits in second place with a team total of 307.
Played at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Course, the host squad from Thomas University leads the nine-team field with a 306. Five of the nine teams in the field are ranked in the NAIA Top 25.
Cassidy Scantland,
Kylie Withrow and
Anna-Marie Hyatt all shot 76.
Ashley Goodin and
Michaela Jarman fired 79 and 83, respectively.
Only two strokes separate the top three teams, as the University of the Cumberlands shot a team total 308. Fellow Mid-South Conference team, Lindsey Wilson, is in fourth place with a 319.
Thomas' Caroline Parrish was low individual on Day 1 with an even-par 72.
