DAYTON, Ohio- The Men's bowling jumped two spots on Sunday, Oct. 16 and finished in 13
th place at the Pikeville Orange and Black Classic.
Ryan Bremer led the way for the Tigers in a tough 48-foot flat oil pattern. Bremer shot 174, 178 in games one and two and going into game three, four, and five saw the experienced senior put up an impressive finish with scores of 223, 195, and 255. Bremer finished with an overall score of 1025, which was good for 11
th place overall.
Kyle Cook from Urbana University led the field in first with a overall score of 1200.
Other notable standouts were
Andrew Lissik and Jon Henderson finishing in 61
st and 104
th place, respectively, knocking down 898 and 810 pins.
After shooting 722 and 708 in the first two sets the Tigers were sitting in 15
th place going into Sunday's Baker play. Campbellsville jumped Saginaw Valley State University for 12
th place by putting up 787 and 692 in the last two sets.
CU would finish with an overall 7296 pins for an 11
th place finish which just missed them from qualifying for match play. Morehead State had the highest score going into match play with a score of 8095. Notre Dame College went 3-0 over Urbana University for the title.
The Tigers will take a much needed fall break and will get back to action starting on Saturday Oct. 29
th in Lexington, Ky. at the Union College Classic.
