PANAMA CITY, Fla. — After the first round of the NCCAA National Championship, Lady Tiger golf sits in second place after an opening round of 328.

The Hombre Golf Club, a PGA Qualifying School site, showed its true colors today, as there were only three rounds shot in the 70's and the average score was an 87.5.

Campbellsville's Kylie Withrow was one of those three in the 70s, firing an opening round 79. Withrow carded two birdies, seven bogeys and a double in her first round to sit in third place.

Dallas Baptist, an NCAA DII program, has a pair of student-athletes at the top of the leaderboard, as Anna Parmerter and Sarah Kim both fired one-over 73s.

Dallas Baptist lead the Lady Tigers by 20 strokes after round one in the team standings.

Behind the sophomore Withrow, Senior Anna-Marie Hyatt is tied for sixth after firing a 10-over 82. Hyatt carded four double-bogeys but was able to rally with three birdies – one of them on the par-four 18^th to finish her day.

Sophomore Michaela Jarman was one stroke behind her teammate settling for an 11-over 83.

Senior's Cassidy Scantland and Ashley Goodin both carded 12-over 84s. Scantland had just five bogeys on her round but fell victim to two doubles and a triple.

Goodin was rolling after the front nine holes, going out at one-under par. But the back-nine wasn't as pretty. Starting with a bogey on the 10^th, Goodin dropped 13 shots on five of the next seven holes. She finished her round by rolling in a birdie on the 18^th to get back into the Top 15.

Behind Dallas Baptist's 11 birdies, the Lady Tigers were is second with eight. The two programs finished tied with 42 pars but Dallas Baptist played the par-fives at six-over and Campbellsville was at plus-13.

Campbellsville's second round of the NCCAA Championship will start at 11:20 a.m. ET. Ashley Goodin will tee off at 11:20, while Michaela Jarman is at 11:30, Kylie Withrow at 11:40, Anna-Marie Hyatt at 11:50 and Cassidy Scantland will round out the Lady Tigers at 12:00.
