LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Campbellsville men's bowling team was in action at a pair of tournaments this weekend. The Tigers finished fourth at the Louisville Collegiate Classic and turned around on Sunday with a third place finish at the Thomas Burris Memorial.
Louisville Collegiate (Recap)
Ryan Bremer, the senior two-handed bowler from Dublin, Ohio, put up an impressive showing to lead the Tigers. Bremer posted scores of a 236, 235, 236, 258, and 237 with a tournament total of 1,202, which was one pin shy of the tournament winner Lucas Hartigan from Martin Methodist College.
Other notable finishes came from
Andrew Lissik with a fifth place finish knocking down 1,143 pins.
Devon Gunderson and
McKinley Knopp ended up with 23
rd and 33
rd place finishes, respectively, with 1,045 and 1,000 pin totals.
Overall the tournament showed very high numbers with Campbellsville finishing fourth overall with a total of 7,775. Martin Methodist took home first place with a total score of 7,883.

Andrew Lissik and
Devon Gunderson led the way on Sunday showing a seventh and eighth place finishes overall. Only three pins separated the two, as Lissik finished with a pin-count of 1,081 and Gunderson a 1,078.
Jonathon Henderson finished 14
th with a 1,025.
McKinley Knopp finished 23
rd with a score of 962.
Going into baker format CU had an 89-pin lead over Emmanuel College. The team finished with 829, 808, and 763. Overall the final tournament score was 7,494, which was good for third place. Lindenwood-Bellville University finished in first place with score of 7,620.
The Tigers will continue their season this weekend, October 8-9, at the Columbia 300 Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Ind.
