PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Emily Fox scored nine points in a 12-2 run to start the fourth quarter and Campbellsville closed the door on Pikeville tonight in the East Kentucky Expo Center, 84-68.
The Lady Tigers (22-4, 9-2 MSC) hit 7-of-21 3-pointers, with Fox knocking down six to finally put the Lady Bears away.

The Lady Tigers led by 10 points early in the first quarter, but Pikeville fought back and a Candice Porter bucket tied the score, 21-21. Pikeville (19-5, 5-5 MSC) would take a short-lived 23-21 led before CU closed out the frame on an 8-0 run.
After taking a 45-40 lead into halftime, Pikeville pulled to within 61-58 when Rachel Lee closed out the third quarter with a put-back basket. Lee led UPIKE with 16 points in 27 minutes of play.
Fox hit back-to-back 3s just minutes into the fourth quarter, giving Campbellsville the breathing room it needed. CU led 80-62 with a little over two minutes to go in the game.
Campbellsville forced 22 UPIKE turnovers with Grider (5) and Fox (3) combining for eight steals.
