Game Two – Faulkner 6, Campbellsville 3 – Box Score

In game two of the series, starter Nick Morehead allowed five runs in the first two innings and the Tigers were unable to recover.

Campbellsville did find its groove at the play, scoring single runs in the third and fourth innings. Cody Erickson led CU going 2-for-3 while Miguel Solano, Nestor Linares, Casey Scott, Brett Hamilton and Richard Ramirez picked up singles.

Faulkner added an insurance run in the fifth inning, as the Eagles were led at the plate with a three-hit performance by Mario Amaral. Alexis Cruz added two hits with the biggest coming via a solo homerun. Dario Polanco drove in two runs with a two RBI double as well.

Campbellsville added a run in the seventh inning but ran out of gas. Justin Phillips pitched the final inning for the Tigers, allowing one hit but getting out of the inning facing the minimum.

Game Three – Faulkner 14, Campbellsville 1 – Box Score

Casey Congleton relieved Quark but he was not able to get out of the first either. After allowing three hits, Ryan Norrix came in to get the final out and stopped the bleeding.

After working a perfect second inning, the third inning wasn't as nice, as Norrix allowed three hits and two walks, while all five runners came around to score before recording an out.

Irvin Ruiz saw the most action on the mound, hurling the third, fourth and fifth innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs. Dexter Cline pitched the sixth inning, allowing two hits and one earned run.

At the plate Scott finished with two hits in three at bats and scored the lone Campbellsville run in the fourth inning.
