MASON, Ohio — A run at another championship starts today for Tiger baseball at the NCCAA World Series. Campbellsville has a pair of pool play games this afternoon at Legacy Field starting at 1 and 8 p.m. ET.

Campbellsville, which comes in as the No. 2 seed in the World Series, will play seven-seeded Trinity Christian College out of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) in its opening game.
The Tigers carry in a 39-17 record and are looking for its fourth 40-win season in
Beauford Sanders' tenure and first since 2010. Campbellsville won the Mid-South Conference Regular Season championship and also the tournament title to become the No. 1 seed in the NAIA Opening Round last week. After dropping its first game, CU won three games in 24 hours to set up a championship game with Point University before falling, 2-1.
Trinity Christian boasts a 34-21 record and finished third in the CCAC. The Trolls are led at the plate by Tyler Sroczynski (.444) and Zack Jones (.385, 4HR, 53 RBI). Campbellsville counters with
Cameron Ketchen (.370, 4HR, 39 RBI),
Miguel Solano (.362, 22 RBI) and
Richard Ramirez (.342, 3HR, 26 RBI).
Since the MSC Tournament championship game vs. Lindsey Wilson, Solano has been on a tear hitting .564 (13-for-23).
The Tigers will throw out
Nick Przybylek on the mound in game one. Przybylek carries in a 9-2 record and 2.84 ERA and shined in his last start. Against Freed-Hardeman in an elimination game, Przybylek tossed his first career complete-game and struck out a career-high 15 batters.
In game two tonight, the Tigers will face Warner University. The Royals boast a 30-27 record and are the sixth-seed in the World Series. Competing in the Sun Conference, Warner finished in sixth place with a 12-12 record.
The Royals are led by Broderick Rodocker. He is tops on the team in batting average (.408), home runs (4 HR) and RBIs (47).
Campbellsville is scheduled to start
Nick Morehead on the mound in game two. Morehead brings in a 6-5 record and 4.32 ERA. In his last start, Morehead tossed six innings of one-hit baseball – the lone hit came on a inside the park home run vs. USC Beaufort last Thursday night.
Warner plays Southwester Christian in game two of the World Series at 11 a.m.
