GULF SHORES, Ala. – Paxton Wiley and Lindsey Burd competed today, but did not qualify for the finals in their respective events at the 2016 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.
Wiley, a freshman from Radcliff, Ky. ran a personal best 15.87 in the 110-meter hurdles and was a tenth of a second off the Campbellsville University record during his heat race.
Burd, a senior from Hardyville, Ky., threw her shot 12.17 meters.
Brett Pierce, a senior from Edgewood, Ky., will run in the marathon Saturday morning, May 28.
