OAKLAND CITY, Ind. - Tiger soccer outshot Oakland City tonight and scored two second half goals to pick up a non-conference win, 2-0.

Campbellsville (5-0) dominated in shots tonight, recording 32 compared to the Oaks' eight.
Alex Higdon and
Ross Lindsay led the Tigers by taking four shots apiece. Lindsay is currently the third leading shooter for the season.Â

Marco Galeano and
Sam Wills both recorded their second goals of the season tonight. Galeano started the game for the Tigers scoring in the 18
th minute, assisted by
Lucas Cury. Wills followed with another Cury assist pushing Campbellsville's perfect record to 5-0.

The Oaks countered with three corner kicks, but were not able to convert. Campbellsville's defense was led by reigning MSC Defender of the Week, goalkeeper
Gonzalo Sapena. He finished with three saves and now ranks No. 8 in goals against average (0.270).

Tiger soccer travels to Marian University on Tuesday, Sept. 20 to face the Knights at 7 p.m. They will return home on Monday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. for a matchup against the Midway College Eagles, then will compete in their first conference game on Sept. 30 at Lindsey Wilson at 8 p.m. ET.
