INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- With a 2-0 win over Marian University on Tuesday night, Campbellsville men's soccer extended its NAIA-leading match win-streak to 22 games (20-0-2).

After a scoreless first half, the newly ranked No. 9 Tigers landed two goals in the 48
th and 67
th minutes to pull out the win over the Knights.
Ignacio Mangada scored the first goal – his fourth goal of the season – followed by
Lucas Freitas who netted the first goal of his collegiate career.

Campbellsville (5-0) Â took a total of 22 shots tonight compared to Marian's 10, with 10 shots on goal compared to the Knights' four. Mangada and Freitas were the leading shooters for the Tigers with four apiece, followed closely by
Diego Morales with three.

The Tigers held the possession most of the second half, only allowing the Knights one shot on goal.

Gonzalo Sapena led the defense with a season-high four saves. Sapena still ranks No. 8 in the NAIA with a goals against average of .210.

Tiger soccer returns home on Monday, Sept. 26
th at 8 p.m to take on the Midway University Eagles at Finley Stadium. They will compete in their first conference game at Lindsey Wilson College on Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. ET.
