FORT WAYNE, Ind. — In the first dual of the day at the NWCA National Duals on the women's side, Lady Tiger wrestling dominated Ferrum College, 48-1.

The Lady Tigers took off running in the first dual of the day, winning every match they competed in.
Ruby Ariosa-Danobeytia earned five points for a forfeit at 101,
McKenzie Bacich (109) pinned Angelique Terrones-Cruz in 2:50 and
Charlotte Fowler (116) tech'd Aidan Coughlin 11-0 giving CU a 14-0 lead.
Andribeth Rivera and
Koral Sugiyama both pinned their opponents at 123 and 130lbs., respectively.
Shelby Hall (136) earned a 12-2 tech-fall over Cynthia Aldama and
Kayla Miracle picked up a forfeit win at 143 before the Lady Tigers dominated the last three matches.
In the final three matches,
Mariah Harris,
Kaitlyn Hill and
Rebecca Carson all pinned their opponents. Harris earned a 20-second pin, Hill defeated her opponent in 1:30 and Carson took down hers in 38 seconds.
The Lady Tigers are looking to better their fourth and third place finishes at the National Duals the previous two seasons, respectively.
