GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Campbellsville men's basketball hit 50 percent from floor and Bethel shot 31 percent from the free throw line in the Tigers 83-58 win on Saturday afternoon.
CU concludes the Mid-South Conference/Southern States Athletic Conference Challenge with a perfect 3-0 record after defeating Martin Methodist and Brewton-Parker on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Hagen Tyler once again led CU in scoring after dropping 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting. He nailed a season-high five 3-pointers and was a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.
Shawn Johnson scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Tim Coleman and Duke Robinson scored 13 and 11 points, respectively. Andrew Smith recorded his first double-double as a Tiger with 10 points and 13 boards.
Jalen Coates led CU with five assists, while Coleman had four. CU finished the day with 18 assists on their 30 field goals.
Campbellsville (3-0) and Bethel (2-3) were neck-and-neck until Coleman put CU ahead 33-31 with 3:16 left in the first half and the Tigers never trailed the rest of the way. CU then went on a 14-3 run to finish the half and led, 45-36.
During the run, the Tigers didn't miss a field goal by hitting all five shots to end the half.
Leading 45-36, Bethel was able to get the deficit to single digits a few times with the final time at 9:47 and CU leading, 58-49. That's when coach
Brent Vernon lit a fire under his team.
The Tigers finished the final nine-plus minutes on a 25-9 run and Bethel was unable to recover.
The Wildcats had 16 players see time on the court today with Isaac Edmondson leading the way at 16 points. Chase Nappier pitched in 11 and Bradley Walker finished with 10.
Campbellsville will open its home schedule in the Powell Athletic Center for a six-game home stand the next three weeks. CU hosts the Lou Cunningham Classic on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17-18, as the Tigers will play Oakwood on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. ET and Indiana University Southeast on Saturday at 4 p.m.
