"I am very proud of our second string girls who stepped it up and wrestled varsity this weekend to fill the empty spaces with three varsity wrestling competing at the Dave Schultz," said assistant coach
Nicole Woody. "Many girls made lower weights or bumped up a weight class. I am especially proud of
McKayla Campbell. Her grandmother passed away four days ago. She still came, made weight, and wrestled. She leaves tomorrow to drive to her funeral but her dedication through her loss is inspiring."
The Lady Tigers will now have a pair of JV matches against Life University and University of the Cumberlands on Saturday, Nov. 11 in Williamsburg. CU returns home to host Cumberlands on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. ET
