COLUMBUS, Ga. – Lady Tiger swimming put its first points on the board as it completed Day 2 of the NAIA Championship at the Columbus Aquatic Center.

Lauren Dalton,
Katy Lewis and
Jessica Cook scored the first points for the Lady Tigers with a 15
th place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. The team swam the event in 4:10.90 in prelims to break the former school record by over 10 seconds and earn their pass to the finals. They went on to swim the finals race in 4:11.67, collecting four points.
In the 800-yard freestyle relay, Dalton, Cook,
Faith Hyde and
Jen Lewis swam a new school record of 8:39.93, good enough for 18
th place. Howard joined Cook, J. Lewis and Dalton for the 200-yard freestyle relay to place 20
th with a record time of 1:45.04.
Setting a new school record of her own, Howard completed the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 25.04 seconds for 22
nd place.
Rounding out the competition through Day 2, Dalton completed the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:13.46 for 18
th place.
Campbellsville will resume competition on Friday morning, starting Session 4 at 9 a.m.
