COLUMBUS, Ga. – Lady Tiger swimming completed Day 2 of the NAIA Championship with two more school records and six more points to reach 20th place overall.
Freshman
Lauren Dalton added six more points to the Lady Tigers' four earned yesterday, bringing the current team score to 10. She swam the 400-yard IM in at time of 4:50.70 to qualify for finals, then broke the school record by over three seconds in a time of 4:44.18 for 11
th place.
Also breaking her former school record,
Sara Beth Howard swam the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.42 for 25
th place.
Rounding out the individual events for the Lady Tigers on Day 3,
Katy Lewis swam the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:03.79 for 29
th place.
Faith Hyde, Dalton, K. Lewis and Howard teamed up to take on the lone relay event for today. They finished the 200-yard medley relay in 1:57.82 for 20
th place.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Saturday morning for the final day of NAIA Championship competition. Campbellsville will begin Session 6 with the 200-yard backstroke at 9 a.m.
