COLUMBUS, Ga. – Upon completion of the NAIA Championships, Lady Tiger swimming collected eight school records and 10 points over the course of four days.
Campbellsville finished the championship in 20
th place.
Freshman
Lauren Dalton stood out for the Lady Tigers again on Day 4 with another school record in the 200-yard backstroke. She swam the event in 2:11.11, just enough to surpass the former record of 2:11.97 and land 17
th place.
Fellow freshman
Sara Beth Howard followed suit in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.41 seconds, beating her former record of 55.86 seconds. She finished in 26
th place.
Jessica Cook also competed in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing the event in 58.79 seconds.
Concluding NAIA action for the Lady Tigers, Dalton, Howard, Cook and
Jen Lewis teamed up to swim the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:50.63. Breaking the school record by just over three seconds, they finished 20
th.
Olivet Nazarene swept the championships with their second-straight men's team NAIA Championship title and a first-ever for the women.
