KENTUCKY LAKE - On a day when high winds made navigation a challenge, the anglers fishing the 2017 YETI FLW College Fishing Open on Kentucky Lake still hauled in an impressive overall catch that included seven limits of more than 20 pounds and 46 limits of more than 15 pounds.

Campbellsville sent eight boats to the YETI FLW College Fishing Open and one boat sits in the Top 20. Michael Shelton and Trevor Sagrecy reeled in five fish for 17 pounds 6 ounces to lead the Tigers and sit in 17
th place.

At the top of the pack is the University of Tennessee at Martin team of Dylan True and Matthew Lamastus, which weighed in 25 pounds, 15 ounces. True and Lamastus have a 1-pound, 12-ounce lead over Murray State University's Nick Montilino and Brock Spencer, at 24-3.

The full field will fish again on Saturday, after which the top 20 teams by cumulative weight will be granted berths in the 2018 YETI FLW College Fishing National Championship. Currently, the 20th-place cut is 17 pounds, 2 ounces.

Daktota Cantrell and
Austin Moore currently sit in 29
th place with five fish weighing in at 16 pounds 6 ounces.
Nick Ratliff and
Luke Patterson also had a nice day on Kentucky Lake reeling in 15 pounds 13 ounces with a limit.
Justin Mayfield and
Levi Neathery were three ounces behind Ratliff and Patterson with 15 pounds and 10 ounces on another limit.
