GREENVILLE, S.C. — The National Christian College Athletic Association announced the 2017 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athletes this week and Campbellsville has eight receiving the honor.
On the women's side,
Brandi Thomas,
Libby Welch,
Deja Thompson and
Abby Wicke earned the honor, while
Ross Allen,
Bret Crawford,
Corbin Harris and Brandon Wiseheart picked up the award on the men's side.
In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
On the men's side, the Tigers finished the NCCAA Championship with a seventh place finish and the women were 15
th overall.
