Carrico, Johnston and Christensen earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors with at least 3.5 GPAs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Wednesday that 383 men's baseball student-athletes have been named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Baseball Scholar-Athletes.
 
Campbellsville University had three Tigers honored – Clayton Carrico, Nick Johnston and Hunter Christensen.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
 
The Tigers finished the season with a 39-23 year and won the 2017 Mid-South Conference Regular Season championship.
