Box Score MOBILE, Ala. — Top-seeded Campbellsville men's tennis started its reign at a third NCCAA Championship banner on Monday morning with a 5-0 sweep over Cedarville.
The Tigers dominated in doubles, winning 24-8 and swept Nos. 1 and 6 singles for its opening win.
Campbellsville will now play four-seeded Judson University at 3:30 p.m. ET. Cedarville is scheduled to play three-seed Warner University.
Brendan Aguilar and
Zach Baulch both won their singles matches. Aguilar took down Matt Brunbaug, 6-2, 6-0, for the first win. Baulch defeated Jeremy Hoover, 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles, top-seeded pair
Chrys Castro and
Alejandro Reyes won 8-4 over Matt Brumbaugh and Jonathan Class. Aguilar and Victor Alhbeck won 8-3 over Ryan Shomo and Joel Clark, while
Adrian Sabrojo and
Mario Belloni defeated Alex Totten and Stephen Combs, 2-1.
