CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Lady Tiger swimming compiled eight victories on Friday night to pick up a 136-70 win over Bethel University on Senior Day inside the Powell Athletic Center.
Campbellsville moves to 3-4 in dual meets this season and heads into its final regular-season event of the season on Saturday against Lindsey Wilson College.
The Lady Tiger 200-meter short course medley relay team started out the competition with a first-place finish after completing the race in 2:19.08. The quartet of
Faith Hyde,
Jen Lewis, Brooklyn Friel and
Lauren Sears placed first, while Chlesie VanWhy,
Morgan Bryant,
Katy Lewis and
Mikayla Runner finished third with a time of 2:29.21.

In the 800-meter freestyle,
Kate Bouldin and
Faith Hyde finished second and third after posting marks of 11:33.58 and 11:40.15 respectively.
With three Campbellsville individuals making up the scoring field in the 200-meter freestyle, VanWhy just missed breaking the two-minute mark with a 2:00.66 to win the event.
Katy Lewis followed in second with a time of 2:33.92 and Runner touched the wall in 2:34.55.
The Lady Tigers alternated places in the 100-meter backstroke after Sears won the event with a time of 1:18.39 and
Autumn Turner placed third after completing the race in 1:34.33.
Lindsey Buckman won her first event of the night in the 200-meter butterfly after completing the race in 2:17.62 and Friel was just behind in 2:39.97.
Jen Lewis rounded out the field after posting a time of 3:08.12.
After Bethel took the top-two spots in the 50-meter freestyle, Runner was the first Lady Tiger to touch the wall in 32.93 and placed third, followed by Bryant in fourth with a time of 34.21.
Sears placed second in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:08.31 and Turner finished with a 1:21.20 to round out the field. Hyde was the lone competitor in the 200-meter backstroke, where she notched a time of 2:50.45.
Campbellsville made up the field in the 200-meter breaststroke with Bryant (3:36.86),
Lexie Upton (3:37.16) and
Jen Lewis (3:41.20) representing the Lady Tigers.
In the 400-meter freestyle, Friel won the event with a 5:02.37 and
Olivia Schneider placed second after completing the race in 5:34.14, followed by Bouldin with a 5:42.60. Buckman rounded out her individual events as the only swimmer in the 100-meter butterfly and notched a time of 1:24.05.
The final individual event of the night featured
Katy Lewis and Upton taking part in the 400-meter individual medley. The Campbellsville duo finished second and third respectively.
To round out the meet, the Lady Tigers had two teams score in the 200-meter freestyle relay finishing second and third. Sears, VanWhy, Runner and Friel led the way with a time of 2:06.54 and
Katy Lewis, Hyde, Buckman and
Jen Lewis posted a race time of 2:13.94.
Prior to the meet, Campbellsville and Bethel honored their graduating seniors.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Saturday morning at 1 p.m. ET against Lindsey Wilson in Columbia, Ky.
