Lady Tiger basketball continues road trip seeking ninth straight win over Cumberland on Saturday

LEBANON, Tenn. — Lady Tiger basketball is seeking to win its ninth straight game over Cumberland University on Saturday afternoon.
 
Tipoff between the two is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET at the Dallas Floyd Recreation. The Voice of Tiger Basketball, Matt Payton, will have the radio call on 88.7 The Tiger and CampbellsvilleTigers.com starting at 2:45.
 
Third-ranked Campbellsville is coming off a 68-63 win over No. 8 Lindsey Wilson on Thursday night. In that win, Madison Faulkner scored a career-high 16 points in her first start of the season, while Caitlin Hall dished out a career-high nine assists.

 
Series Facts:
  • CU and Cumberland are meeting for the 34th time. The Lady Tigers lead the overall series 29-4.
  • Campbellsville has won the previous eight games - with three of those victories by four points or less. Eight of the 11 meetings have been decided by nine points or less, including three overtime games.
  • In the Ginger Colvin and Jeremy Lewis eras, Campbellsville holds a 9-3 edge in the series.

  • Cumberland University is third in the standings at 15-6 overall and 4-2 in the MSC.
  • Lindsey Wilson fell to 3-2 inside MSC play and is fourth, while Cumberlands and UPIKE are both 2-4. Georgetown College is 1-5 and Life University is 0-5.
