Lady Tiger basketball sits in second place of MSC standings; heads to Georgetown on Thursday

GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Lady Tiger basketball hits the road to start the second-half of Mid-South Conference play on Thursday night, as Campbellsville travels to rival Georgetown College.

Tip off of the doubleheader is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET in Davis Reid Alumni Gymnasium on Georgetown's campus. Matt Payton, the Voice of Lady Tiger Basketball, will have coverage starting on 88.7 The Tiger and CampbellsvilleTigers.com/watch at 5:45 p.m.

Half way through conference play, Campbellsville sits in second play in the MSC standings with a 6-1 record and is one of only three teams in the NAIA with 20-plus wins. Thursday night marks the start of the second half of conference play and CU is once again in the driver's seat to reach its NAIA-leading 26th national tournament.

The Lady Tigers clinched their 10th-straight 20-win season and the 10th in Ginger Colvin's tenure as head coach after the 82-63 win over Cumberland University on Saturday. CU has picked up consecutive victories, including a 68-63 win over No. 8 Lindsey Wilson, without leading scorer Madison Clements, who is rehabbing a sprained ankle. Madison Faulkner, Jordan Doram and Savannah Gregory have picked up the slack by totaling 63 combined points in the last two games.
