McKENZIE, Tenn. — Four of the five starters scored in double figures and Campbellsville hit 55 percent from the floor to rout Hiwassee College on Saturday afternoon, 98-42.

The Lady Tigers improve their record to 2-0 overall and 10-0 now in the Bethel University Chamber Classic the last five years.

Madison Stewart led the Lady Tigers with 16 points, while Madison Faulkner pitched in 15. The starting five combined to score 50 of the 98 points, while Jordan Doram had 13 and Savannah Gregory had 11. Caitlin Hall only had five points but dished out seven assists.

Off the bench, Madison Sheppard scored a career-high 10 points in only eight-plus minutes.

Rebounding was the biggest stat today, as Campbellsville hit the glass and out-rebounded Hiwassee, 56-20. Sammy Rogers came off the bench to lead CU with seven boards, while Ashlee McGeorge had six.

The offensive glass was also a difference as CU had 19 offensive boards and scored 29 second chance points.

The Lady Tiger defense forced 20 turnovers and held Hiwassee to only hitting 27 percent (16-of-59). CU countered with 55 percent overall and hit 84 percent (16-of-19) from the free throw line.

After two dominating performances this weekend, the Lady Tigers will have two weeks to prepare for the Mid-South Conference / Southern States Athletic Conference Challenge as CU travels to New Orleans on Nov. 9-10.
