CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Thursday night's women's volleyball match between Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson College was cancelled after the first set at the Powell Athletic Center Thursday Night.

A leak in the ceiling was noticed as water was dripping onto the court due to heavy rain outside, making the playing surface too dangerous to continue. 

The teams played one full set into the match, as LWC won the first set 25-21. The drip was discovered by CU players during the change of sides and the match was delayed to see if the condensation would stop before finally reaching the decision to cancel the match.

With neither team's standing in conference tournament seeding changing with a result from the match, no make-up date will be scheduled for the match and it will officially ruled a no-contest.

The Lady Tigers will host one more match in the regular season against Brescia University next Monday before the start of the Mid-South Conference tournament next week.
