Lady Tigers set multiple records and career-highs in 127-33 win over Simmons College

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.  — Lady Tiger basketball set a few season-highs in tonight's 127-33 win over Simmons College. 
 
The 127 points today is the most in a regular season contest – which breaks last season's mark of 125 points vs. Simmons. 
 
No. 5 Campbellsville finished hitting 61 percent from the floor (51-of-83), while holding Simmons to hitting 20 percent (12-of-59). The 51 made buckets, 36 assists, 64 rebounds, 79 bench points, 12 field goals allowed, and three free throws allowed were all season-highs for the Lady Tigers.

Individually, Madison Kaiser led the way with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting and hit three Edward Jones 3-pointers. Freshman Lexy Lake had 14 points and pushed her 3-point total to 14 in the last four games. Savannah Gregory pitched in 13 points and six boards, while Madison Stewart and Madison Sheppard both had 12 points. The 12 for Sheppard is a career-high along with her seven rebounds. 
 
Rounding out the Lady Tigers in double figures was a new career-high 12 points for Faith Lake and 11 for Jordan Doram and Lashaya Carman – which is another career-high for the rookie. 

Ashlee McGeorge was a few points away from her first-career double-double. She led the rebounding efforts with a career-high 10 boards and she also pitched in seven points and four assists. 

Also, Shyla Calbert led the way with a new career-high eight assists.  

Campbellsville held Simmons to scoring only 10 points in the second half – which is the lowest output for an opponent all season. DaVianna Ruff led the way for the Falcons with 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. 
 
Campbellsville improved to 10-1 on the year with the victory and will now have one final home game for the 2018 calendar year on Saturday against West Virginia Tech. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
