Lady Tigers head south for first true road contests of the season at Mobile and Faulkner

MOBILE, Ala. — No. 5 Campbellsville travels to the University of Mobile and Faulkner University on Saturday and Monday, Dec. 29 and Dec. 31st, to conclude the 2018 calendar year. 
 
These two games are the first true road games of the year for the Lady Tigers as they have played eight neutral contests before the Christmas holiday. 
 
The Lady Tigers are meeting Mobile for the second time this season on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 8 p.m. ET. The game has been moved to Spring Hill College due to flooding and will be played at Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

The Lady Tigers and Mobile Rams have played once this season before and CU dominated the contest by 30 points, 97-67, in the Conference Challenge at Loyola University. 
 
Campbellsville is coming off its second loss of the year, a 76-75, defeat to NAIA DII No. 25 University of Saint Francis. 
 
Mobile has lost four straight and eight of 11 games this year. In five of the eight losses this year, the average margin of defeat for Mobile has been 3.2 points. In Campbellsville's 12 wins, CU is out-scoring opponents by an average of 31 points.
 

SERIES FACTS:
  • Campbellsville and Mobile are meeting for the ninth time in history.
  • The Lady Tigers hold a 7-1 record - the lone loss came on Nov. 5, 2004. CU lost 75-70.
  • CU and Mobile are meeting for the second time this season, as the Lady Tigers won, 97-67, at the MSC/SSAC Challenge at Loyola Univ.
  • The very first meeting came on Dec. 31, 1998 with the Lady Tigers winning, 62-60.
SCOUTING MOBILE:
  • After winning the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament title in 2017, the Rams missed the NAIA Tournament last season and are trying to rebuild in 2018-19.
  • Kendra Langham leads the Rams by scoring 12.8 points per game.
  • Jordan York and Kelsey Pinera are both averaging 10 points per game.\
  • Mobile has had nine of its 10 current players on the roster all see action in the starting lineup this season. Janae Strode is the only Ram not to start in a game in the first semester.
GREGORY NAMED MSC PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
  • Savannah Gregory, a redshirt sophomore from Scottsville, Ky., averaged 17.5 points, four rebounds, three assists and 3.5 steals per game for the Lady Tigers last week.
  • She knocked down 70 percent (14-of-20) of her shots from the field while making 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from beyond the 3-point arc
  • Gregory scored a season-high 24 points in a 76-75 setback to the University of St. Francis. She made 10-of-12 shots in the game.
  • She ranks second in the NAIA with 54 steals this season. Her 13.6 points per game are fifth in the Mid-South and lead the Lady Tigers. 
DORAM IS 15 POINTS AWAY:
  • Senior Jordan Doram is 15 points away from becoming the 34th member of the 1,000 Point Club.
  • Doram is averaging 9.6 points in her 103 games played.
  • She will become the first Lady Tiger since Madison Clements in 2017-18 to surpass 1,000 points. She tied Emily Fox for 29th on the all-time scoring list with 1,178 points.
  • When Doram eclipses the 1,000-point mark she will become the eighth Lady Tiger to surpass the century in Coach Ginger High Colvin's career.
CAITLIN HALL LEADS NAIA IN PASSING:
  • Junior Caitlin Hall leads the NAIA with 102 assists on the year and is second with 7.2 assists per game.
  • She has recorded three 10+ assist games this season.
