Lady Tigers break century mark for third time this year in 107-47 win over Ohio Christian

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Madison Faulkner scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Madison Kaiser matched her season-high 18 points in Campbellsville's 107-47 win over Ohio Christian on Saturday. 
 
The fifth-ranked Lady Tigers have rolled past their opponents this week by outscoring them with an average of 45 points. Today's offensive output was the second-highest all season as the Lady Tigers have broken the 100-point barrier three times and are averaging 95 points per game - which is second in the national behind Our Lady of the Lake (98.1). 
 
Faulkner finished hitting 10-of-12 from the floor and was two boards away from a double-double. Kaiser hit 8-of-11 overall, as she and Faulkner both only played 13 minutes. 
 
Ashlee McGeorge and Madison Sheppard also had solid performance off the bench. McGeorge was one of five Lady Tigers with double figures scoring 10 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Sheppard was one point away from double digits and matching her career-high with nine points.
 
Campbellsville sprinted out to an early 14-2 lead capped by an and-one opportunity by Savannah Gregory with 5:37 remaining in the opening quarter. The Lady Tigers kept the pedal to the floor the rest of the afternoon.
 
CU took its first 20-point lead and dominated in the second quarter – starting the frame with a 21-0 run. During that time span, Campbellsville forced 10 of the 38 turnovers for Ohio Christian and held the Trailblazers scoreless in the frame until the 3:22 mark. 
 
Ohio Christian's leading scorers Helaina Limas and Staci Dinsmore were held in check by only scoring a combined 23 points on 9-of-26 shooting. The Lady Tigers ended by out-shooting the Trailblazers by 18 percent, 48%-30%. 
 
CU finished hitting 43-of-90 shots – both season highs in a game this season. 
 
Joining Faulkner, Kaiser and McGeorge in double figures was Savannah Gregory (12) and Jordan Doram (11). Madison Stewart led the way with a season-high 10 rebounds, while Lashaya Carman gabbed a career-high six boards in nine minutes of action. 
 
With the win, the Lady Tigers improve to 9-1 on the year and will host Simmons College on Monday night at 4 p.m. ET.
