KLIPPAN, Sweden — Campbellsville women's wrestling has a pair of Lady Tigers competing in the finals of the 2018 Klippan Lady Open on Sunday morning in Sweden.

Kayla Miracle and Grace Bullen are both wrestling for Gold medals for their respective countries, while WCWA All-American Koral Sugiyama did not place.

Miracle is one of two American's Securing finals berths after winning their semifinal bouts. She joins and Adeline Gray (New York AC) at 76 kg/167.5 lbs.

Miracle, wrestling at 62 kg/136.6 lbs.) won three matches to reach the finals, including a clutch 2-1 win over 2014 Junior World silver medalist Luisa Niemesch of Germany in the semifinals. She will battle 2014 World champion Yulia Tkach Ostapchuk of Ukraine in the finals on Sunday. Tkach has won three career Senior World medals.

Last week, Miracle became only the fourth four-time WCWA national champion, claiming a title for Campbellsville at the 2018 WCWA Nationals in Oklahoma City. A Senior National Team member, Miracle has won two Junior World medals and a Cadet World medal coming up through the age-group system.

Bullen, competing for her home country of Norway at 59 kg, defeated Lauren Louive (Hawkeye WC) 7-0 in the first round. She then took down Kateryna Zhydachevska 17-10 to setup the championship match vs. Akie Hanai of Japan.

The freshman Bullen became a national champion last weekend as well after out-scoring her opponents 47-0 in the WCWA Championship. Bullen is a two-time age-group World medalist and six-time age-group European champion.

Sugiyama, made her way through the quarterfinal rounds at 59 kg, but lost to Zhydachevska 12-1 to end her Championship run.

The USA will have eight athletes guaranteed a medal match on Sunday. However, three others who were beaten on Saturday qualified for repechage bouts and could advance to the medal rounds with wins in repechage: Victoria Anthony (Sunkist Kids) at 50 kg/110 lbs., Forrest Molinari (Titan Mercury WC) at 65 kg/143.3 lbs. and Rachel Watters (Aires WC) at 72 kg/158.7 lbs.
