Lady Tiger basketball tips off MSC Tournament against Georgetown on Thursday at 2:00

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Lady Tiger basketball's run at their first Mid-South Conference Tournament begins on Thursday afternoon in the East Kentucky Expo Center.

Third-ranked Campbellsville enters as the No. 2-seed in the tournament and will face No. 7-seed Georgetown College at 2 p.m. ET.

Fans can tune in on the CU Sports Network, as Matt Payton's radio call will begin at 1:45. Also, live video will be provided on the Mid-South Conference Sports Network. Links can be found above.

Campbellsville and Georgetown have combined to win 13 of the last 20 MSC regular season titles but neither has won since 2014-15 when CU won the championship but lost to Shawnee State in the tournament finals.

The Mid-South Conference is arguably the toughest in the country with three teams ranks in the Top 25 - led by No. 1 Shawnee State. The Bears finished the regular season at 12-0 in conference play and are looking to win four straight MSC Tournament championships.

Campbellsville is coming in after dropping its only two MSC contests to Shawnee State but is 8-3 against Top 25 opponents all season - two of those loses came to the top-ranked team in the NAIA (Shawnee State and Freed-Hardeman). The Lady Tigers have won five MSC Tournament crowns – 1997, 1998, 2004, 2011, 2014 - and eight overall dating back to the KIAC days – 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989.
